Enter Peepli, a little town in the hinterland where a rancher pair, Natha (Omkar Das Manikpuri) and Budhia (Raghuvir Yadav) are battling to clutch their property. Undermined by outrageous destitution, they fall upon an original arrangement. Natha chooses to end it all to benefit of the Rs one lakh remuneration bundle given out by the public authority. However, before he can do that, the news gets out far and wide.
The obscure village before long turns into the most loved chasing ground for the voyeuristic news channels, hungry for TRPs, deceitful lawmakers, looking at their vote banks, bobbling administrators, foxed and ignorant regarding the bizarre turn of events...Can the rancher's family expect help? Is India prepared to deal with its enlarging populace of neglected and underestimated populace? Does Natha endure? Great questions...
