Murder in the Hills has an Agatha Christie-esque title and reason. Furthermore, the association closes there. The content is too uneven to even think about being contrasted with any production of the Queen of Mystery. The content is frail with regards to the main part of a whodunit — the development. 

Tony kicks the bucket of a coronary episode during his birthday celebration went to by a diverse group comprising a cop, Suvankar (Rajdeep Gupta), an instructor, Sheela (Anindita Bose), her beau and writer Amitava (Arjun Chakrabarty) and her ex, Bob (Suprobhat Das), a specialist, Neema (Sandipta Sen), his companion, Ranjan (Rajat Ganguly) and a movie producer, Bijoy (Sourav Chakraborty). It appeared to be a characteristic demise till Amitava, the always inquisitive writer, begins suspecting unfairness and investigating Tony's life. It drives him to a progression of murders purportedly dedicated at Tony and his father's command 30 years back. Gauging the worth of the story, he begins pursuing it, digging up increasingly more rottenness and proof against the dead entertainer as he continues. 

While all entertainers have done a truly great job with their characters, it's the content that continues to let them down. While Amitava is by all accounts doing his work like an honest to goodness criminal investigator, taking dangers and confronting suspects, he seemingly has no idea how to keep the assets away from plain view. He continues to tell everybody — all excellent suspects for the situation — about his revelations; even a nearby predatory lender who gets him captured without any attempt at being subtle and later orders his trashing. So much for investigative reporting! Additionally, anticipate Amitava, none of the characters appear to have anything to do expect move around in dubious ways, down a drink or two whenever of the day, act out behind a screen of tobacco smoke or convey subtle provocations to the writer. A portion of the groupings — including one in which Bob pursues Amitava or the predatory lender kidnapping him — don't bode well. 

Another viewpoint that must be referenced is the inability to utilize a setting as wonderful as Darjeeling as far as possible. Expect a couple of passing robot shots zeroed in altogether on the metropolitan scene, the camera scarcely does anything to feature the 'hills' that might have added a lot more to the visual show. The entire series could well have been shot in any slope station and passed for Darjeeling. Anjan Dutt appears to take a gander at the slope town according to an inhabitant's viewpoint — for whom the magnificence all around is only the typical view outside the window, and henceforth, immaterial. 

The music by Neel Dutt gets going with a major western touch and initially, doesn't actually appear to coordinate with the visuals trying to build up Tony's person. Yet, the tracks improve as the story advances. The foundation score, notwithstanding, leaves you craving for something really thrilling.
