Sachin Tichkule (Akshay Kumar), a modest project worker, is frantic to prevail in a general public that is slanted intensely towards the bad, the mean, the self centered and the criminals. He surrenders his university Gandhian way of thinking and is even prepared to offer the compulsory incentives and do a bit of haggling push forward throughout everyday life, extraordinarily when he sees his friends and relatives capitulating to avarice and grime. In any case, a possibility meeting with his recent sweetheart (Trisha), presently a genuine and upstanding city magistrate, rings in the imperative inner voice call. The rest is mera Bharat mahaan!

Movie Review: Priyadarshan sure should be quite possibly the most productive producers in the business, presently. All the more critically, he has the uncanny talent of fiddling with various classes of film which incorporate a fearsome satire like Hera Pheri perfectly compared against the creative, grant winning Kancheevaram. With Khatta Meetha, he attempts to perform various tasks, by and by, slipping from social parody to satire to make a carefree remark on India's blundering, pay off inclined organization and deceitful political class.

Does he succeed? Indeed and no. To start with, the highpoints....The film gloats of three wild and whacky parody groupings which nearly cut the house down. First comes average person project worker Akshay Kumar and ridiculous aide Rajpal Yadav's endeavors to tidy up Asrani's home just before a family work: complete pandemonium. Then, at that point follows technician Johnny Lever's endeavors to fix a street roller: totally silly. Lastly, a cross-discussion between Asrani, his colleague and Akshay: ekdum fundoo. Add to this, a couple of more bits of pointless fooling around, and you have a crazy parody track, that tragically comes in pieces and pieces as it were.

Furthermore, in this lies the awfulness of Khatta Meetha. The film is excessively long and has a lot of shrill show, leaving space for excessively little of the giggling carnival. Presently this appears to be annoying, extraordinarily since the parody bits snap with such fun, they leave you frantically yearning for additional. In addition, the show is for the most part dreary, with the plot continuing endlessly about little man Tichkule's useless endeavors to become enormous. All he needs to do is snatch a major agreement and bring in some large cash so he doesn't need to be the black sheep of his family any longer. Amusingly, even the sentiment between the to some degree degenerate project worker and the straight-jacketed city chief comes more as a reconsideration, with an off-kilter flashback to a hurriedly infused school issue that stands out in contrast to everything else. All that tune dance business also appears to be absolutely outlandish, however there is a verve in Pritam's tunes, by and by.

However, there is a sincerity in Akshay Kumar's average person act, complete with umbrella and portfolio, which conveys the film forward, regardless of its center of-the film laziness and sharp craziness, where the vast majority of the relatives continue to screech out their lines. Only two of the family bonds appear to work in Priyardarshan's more distant family: the father and child (Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Akshay) relationship and the sibling and sister (Akshay and Urvashi) rishta. Akshay stays in character for the whole film and indeed rejuvenates something he is skilled at: the 'normal man as saint.' He is capably helped by Rajpal Yadav, who returns to his desi Chaplinesque demonstration with cheerful readiness.

Tune off a bit for the drawn-out center and you could be in for some fun and skip in Khatta Meetha, Priyadarshan's re-make of his previous Malayalam film, Vellanakalude Nadu, where Mohanlal attempted the job of the aam aadmi.
