Superstar Aryan inspires Gaurav, his fan who assaults all and sundry attacking his idol. But what takes place when Aryan himself rejects Gaurav - does Gaurav continue to be Aryan's adoring fan?

Review: Straight away, no-one does freaky with extra flair than Shah Rukh Khan - and Fan proves this. The film takes you proper lower back to the Nineties when Shah Rukh stormed Bollywood with a stammer, a pout and hooded eyes that checked out the world with hate. Back then, Shah Rukh thrilled along with his blend of volatility and vulnerability - in Fan, he does it once more.

Superstar Aryan Khanna (Shah Rukh) is jogging out of steam - but, his devoted Delhi fan Gaurav (Shah Rukh) won't pay attention a word against him. Gaurav worships Aryan, mimicking him in his 'clony' competitions, looking 5 minutes to fulfill his celebrity.
Instead, Gaurav meets - and beats - Sid Kapoor, Aryan's rival. Aryan isn't extremely joyful. He gets Gaurav thrashed, asking coldly, 'Mein tumhe paanch 2d bhi kyun dun?' As Aryan leaves Gaurav imprisoned, devastated Gaurav guarantees that in the future, Aryan will chase Gaurav - due to the fact 'asli drama toh ab shuru hua hai'.

Soon, Aryan finds an imposter taking hostages and molesting women. Even as Aryan attempts convincing police and public it is no longer him, some other 'Aryan' enters his own home, meeting his wife (Waluscha) and kids - how will this freaky face-off quit?
Fan is Shah Rukh Khan's triumph all of the manner. He pulls off a terrifically dramatic double act, changing his look, feel and depth, but as Gaurav, Shah Rukh makes you forget the entirety - besides feeling scared. With greenback tooth, stammering in haste, howling with rejection, maintaining Aryan's daughter instead close, Gaurav darkly disturbs. Shah Rukh charts Gaurav's deterioration, from a cheerful, clumsy Delhi 'launda', with a crush on 'Miss BPO' Neha (Shriya), to a constant stalker who perfects Aryan's confidence - until the facade breaks.

The story is current and settings sharp (at a millionaire wedding ceremony, the host yells at Aryan for being late to dance) with clever details - Sid Kapoor can't examine Gaurav's notice as, 'It's in Hindi, dude!" even as Gaurav, regardless of adopting Aryan's swag, eats 'wegetable sandwich' overseas.

Alongside, Maneesh Sharma paints a compelling larger photograph of Delhi, in which warmness and dust, violence and want, make tempers explode in a very particular Dilli ki garmi. Shah Rukh captures this rage with irony and empathy - he is, as he nicely puts it, thoughts-blasting.

The motion's glorious but stretches whilst the naivete of Gaurav's mother and father (Deepika and Yogendra), ignorant of their handiest toddler's feelings, appears slightly incredible. Yet, ending with a Baazigar-esque twist, Fan makes you experience Darr all over again.
